Multi-country / multi-product launch support
The client is a British manufacturer and distributor of a range of single-use medical devices.
McGrigor Consulting conducted on its behalf the market research and launch strategy in 6 European countries for two of its UK best-selling products (an autologous blood transfer device and a bone cement mixing system that are both in use during orthopedic surgery). The respective markets were sized and reviewed, including multiple interviews of leading doctors and distributors that helped with the understanding of market conditions (eg funding / reimbursement systems, regulation, competitive situation), and in some cases of potential barriers to the successful distribution (key influencers and lobbyists, medical practices). This resulted in a recommendation on short and long term sales potential across the region and distribution suggestions.
